It's nearly impossible not to like Ratatouille. Before you read this review and before I give you any spoilers about the plot, I strongly advise you to watch the film. The cast also does an excellent job in their parts. There isn't a single person on the planet who hasn't heard of this film.

Brian Dennehy Ratatouille IS WORTH TO WATCH.

Linguini discovered that Remy was very intelligent and understood human language, so he brought Remy home. Colette Tatou, the sole female chef, convinces Skinner not to fire Linguini, who is mistaken for the soup. As they were arguing, the soup was accidentally served to the guests and was a huge success. Linguini captures Remy and distracts the chef from the rat, scolded by Skinner. When Linguini spilled the soup pot and tried to cook it again but failed miserably, Remy fell inside the kitchen and cooked the soup perfectly instead of running away. He was hallucinating Gusteau's spirit and took his advice to go out and look around, eventually stopping at a rooftop window overlooking the kitchen of Gusteau's restaurant.ДЄround the same time, Alfredo Linguini was hired as a cleaner by Skinner, the restaurant's temporary owner and former sous chef at Gusteau. When his pack was forced out of their hiding place by their landlady, Remy was separated from the pack and ended up in the sewers of Paris. Inspired by his idol, recently deceased chef Auguste Gusteau, Remy dreamed of becoming a chef. Remy is a anthropomorphic mouse with a natural talent, a highly developed sense of smell and taste. The plot is about a rat named Remy who dreams of becoming a chef and tries to fulfill his goal by teaming up with a young kitchen cleaner at a Paris store. The film features the voice of Patton Oswalt as Remy, a anthropomorphic mouse who is passionate about cooking Lou Romano as Linguini, a young man who cleans the kitchen and befriends Remy Ian Holm as Skinner, the chef at Auguste Gusteau's restaurant Janeane Garofalo as Collete, the chef in charge of roasting and grilling (rГґtisseur) dishes at Gusteau's restaurant Peter O'Toole as Anton Ego, a food critic Brian Dennehy as Django, Remy's father and leader of the rat clan Peter Sohn as Emile, Remy's brother, and Brad Garrett as Auguste Gusteau, a fine chef who has just passed away.

The name 'Ratatouille' is served at the end of the film and is also a play on words about the main character's background. The film's title is a reference to a French dish.

This is the eighth feature film produced by Pixar, and directed by Brad Bird and co-written by Brad Bird, after he replaced Jan Pinkava in 2005.
